Fū-Rin-Ka-Zan (風林火山)
“Swift as the wind, silent as the forest, fierce as fire, unshakable as the mountain.” This was the battle standard of Takeda Shingen, one of the most legendary warlords of Japan’s Sengoku era — four kanji drawn from Sun Tzu’s Art of War, carried into every battle as a statement of who he was.
